La firma encargada de abrir la decimonovena edición del concurso de Tarragona ha sido Göteborgs Fyrverkeryfabryk. Empresa ésta con nombre difícil de pronunciar, pero fuegos fáciles de ver dado el buen gusto mostrado por su diseñador durante la ejecución del disparo.
En la visita realizada a la zona de disparo pude comprobar que el castillo no estaba demasiado cargado de material, pero éste estaba dispuesto de forma prometedora, todo él conectado a un sistema de disparo digital. No me canso de repetir que la abundancia de material no es necesariamente sinónimo de buen espectáculo.
Entrando ya en lo que fue el desarrollo del castillo, éste se inició de forma muy original con un simulacro de incendio acompañado de rítmicas explosiones de efecto trueno, que recorrían el centro de disparo de izquierda a derecha y al revés, siguiéndole disparos de monotiro a juego, consiguiendo arrancar los primeros aplausos del público. Destacar que para conseguir un mejor efecto las bengalas fueron cubiertas durante el montaje con una pantalla rectangular para evitar que éstas fueran vistas directamente por el público, creando un efecto más enigmático.
No quiso desaprovechar el diseñador la oportunidad que le brindaba el trono de agua de la Punta del Miracle acudiendo a él por tres veces de forma bastante acertada.
Otro aspecto a destacar fue el disparo de unas originales carcasas de lujo que en su ascenso iban dejando pequeñas carcasitas flocadas hasta terminar en la apertura de un gran crisantemo con pistilo, es decir: una pieza japonesa con tallo y hojas. El final fue muy bien conducido con un acertado ritmo increscendo solapando muy bien el pre-final con el gran arrebato final, ofreciendo a continuación, como rúbrica final, la subida de tres cortinas rematadas con efecto de trueno.
Por decir algo negativo, quizás se haya abusado de efectos con tono en oro nuevo o kamuro y de efectos de cracker o de pedrería, que aunque preciosos, fueron repetidos en varias ocasiones.
En definitiva, se puede decir que el concurso comienza con muy buen ritmo, y los de Suecia han estado a la altura del gran nivel que ha alcanzado este certamen.

The company in charge of opening the 19th fireworks competition in Tarragona has been Göteborgs Fyrverkeryfabryk. This is a company with a difficult name to pronounce but with fireworks that are easy to see, as their designer offered really good taste during the display.
During the visit to the firing area I could see there was not such a lot of material, but the distribution was promising, all connected to a digital firing system. As I’ve said on other occasions, a great amount of material does not necessarily mean the display will be good.
Getting down to the development of the display, it started in an original way, with the simulation of a fire and some rhythmic explosions of thunder effects that ran along the firing area from left to right and back, which were followed by matching single shots. This got the first applause from the public. It’s important to say that so as to get a better effect, some stars had been covered during the setting up with a rectangular screen, which prevented the public from seeing them directly, and thus creating a more enigmatic effect.
The designer made the most of the opportunity he had to use the water throne of Punta del Miracle and did so on three occasions in a really accurate way.
Another important aspect was the firing of some original luxury shells that were rising and at the same time were letting off other smaller shells and then ended with the opening of a big chrysanthemum with pistil. The finale was really well conducted, with full in crescendo rhythm that linked the pre finale with the great true finale, which included as a signature the firing of three curtains followed with report effects.
Just to mention something negative, perhaps there were too many kamuros and cracker effects, which were beautiful but were repeated several times.
To sum up, the competition started with good rhythm and the Swedish were up to the expectations and to the really high level this competition has reached. |
